The CMEA is held annually at our school. The CMEA festival requires an audition which takes place in December. Students will perform an audition piece for a rating and professional feedback. If you are interested in auditioning, please see Mr. Gray.
CMEA Southern Region Auditions are a great way to challenge yourself musically. Think about regionals like an all-star game for band. Students from the Southern Region audition for spots in Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Choir and Mixed Choir. If you are interested in auditioning for one of these groups, please see Mr. Gray. It is very normal to feel nervous about auditioning. Even if you are not selected to participate, give it a try! Auditioning can only help you grow as a musician.
